The Inspiring Journey of Faith Sansthan’s Aalingan Care Home.
Building Dreams, Restoring Childhoods, and Transforming Lives.
“Every child deserves more than just a roof over their head—they deserve a safe home, unconditional love, quality education, good health, and the opportunity to dream without fear.”
A Journey of Compassion Since 2006
Faith Sansthan has been working tirelessly since 2006 to provide long-term, quality care to orphaned, abandoned, and HIV/AIDS-affected children in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Guided by the belief that every child deserves love, dignity, protection, and equal opportunities, the organization established Aalingan Care Home as a nurturing family environment where vulnerable children can grow into confident, educated, and self-reliant individuals.
Over the years, Faith Sansthan has become a home for children who lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS and were left without family support. Many of these children arrived carrying emotional trauma, fear, uncertainty, and the burden of social stigma. At Aalingan, they found not only shelter but also acceptance, affection, education, healthcare, counselling, and the confidence to build a better future.
Today, the organisation provides a safe and caring home to 22 children, ensuring that they receive holistic care, quality education, healthcare, life skills, vocational guidance, and opportunities to achieve their dreams.
Rented House to Permanent Home
For many years, Aalingan Care Home operated from rented houses across Jaipur. Stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS made finding accommodation difficult, while frequent relocations disrupted the children’s education, wellbeing, and sense of security.
Faith Sansthan believed every child deserved a permanent home where they could live safely and without discrimination.
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), under the Government of Rajasthan, allocated 1,000 square metres of land at Jagatpura, Jaipur, for a permanent children’s home. Designed by architect Ms. Shanimi Shanker, construction was supported through MPLADS funding from Former MP Shri Harshvardhan Singh Ji Dungarpur, with additional support from Former MP Shri Om Mathur Ji through DRDA Jaipur and key partner Arms Around The Child (AATC).
In 2021, the children finally moved into their permanent home.
A Home Built for Every Child
The home features three spacious dormitories, a separate CCTV-monitored room for younger children, twelve hygienic toilets and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining hall, TV hall, activity hall with a Skill Development Centre, counselling room, office, volunteer room, prayer hall, isolation room, two staff rooms, two storage rooms, borewell, 16 kWh solar system, 22 CCTV cameras, open spaces and a children’s park.
A Future Filled with Hope
The completion of Aalingan Care Home transformed children’s lives. Faith Sansthan continues empowering every child through education, healthcare, life skills, vocational training and emotional support.
